Jewelry Care & Cleaning
Polish metal with a jewelry cleaning cloth as needed.
Use a magic eraser sponge or a cloth with water to clean the ceramic as needed and after polishing the metal to wipe away any residue. As raw ceramic is porous, it may pick up pigment from lotion, sweat, makeup, or other substances.
Jewelry is completely waterproof but it’s best to remove before physical activity and while sleeping.
Post Earring Information
The rubber backs are quite tight at first but will loosen after a few uses. Twist while gently pulling to remove them from the posts.
The surgical steel posts are adhered with a sophisticated industrial epoxy that is used in conservation and remains totally clear both over time and with extreme light exposure. It has a tensile strength of 5400 pounds per square inch, so they shouldn’t ever break off. But if for some reason they do, contact me for repair at hello@materialandmovement.com
